About Michael
Michael is a key member in the firm’s specialist Governance and Regulatory Services team and brings a distinct skill set to the team having worked for over 15 years in compliance, regulatory and enforcement roles.
Prior to commencing at Norman Waterhouse, Michael worked in a variety of State government investigative roles, including a number of years’ experience with South Australia Police and the work, health and safety regulator. More recently, he worked for almost a decade in compliance and enforcement roles with both large metropolitan and rural Council’s throughout South Australia. This combined experience makes Michael well placed to assist his clients in all aspects of Regulatory Services.
Since joining the Governance and Regulatory Services team, Michael has played a crucial role in assisting Local Government clients to obtain successful outcomes in matters heard in the Magistrates Court, Environment, Resources and Development Court and the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Michael is trained as an Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) lead investigator. He is keen to develop his practice and specialisation in the Governance and Regulatory Services team.
