James graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Laws & Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Criminology and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2023.

During his university studies, James gained valuable experience in civil litigation in a local boutique law firm, before choosing to specialise in commercial transactions, with a particular emphasis on property law.
After his admission to practice, James commenced practising as a solicitor in a specialist property law firm focusing primarily on retail and commercial leasing.
James now works in the Property and Planning team at Norman Waterhouse, providing pragmatic and commercially astute advice to clients in a timely and cost-effective manner.
