Local Government Commercial Connect Forum

To continue the conversation on local government commercial practices, our next Forum is being held from 9:30 am – 10:30 am on Tuesday 29 October on risk allocation and management in project documentation.

Our recent experience has highlighted to us that contractors and consultants have become more savvy with their use of contract terms to limit their risk allocation and exposure since the pandemic and there is therefore a need for a more nuanced approach to risk in project documentation for some council projects. The October Forum will dive into these matters and cover topics such as form of contract selection, identification and allocation of project risks and documentation of this, the role and limitations of insurance coverage to manage project risks and limitation of liability provisions.
