Norman Waterhouse
Aden is a planning and development law specialist. He is a straight-shooter who is quick to identify and distil the key issues, whether that be in the Court room, or in giving advice to clients.

About Aden

Aden joined Norman Waterhouse in 2014 after having been admitted to practice in 2010.

Prior to joining Norman Waterhouse, Aden spent more than 4 years as an in-house lawyer working for South Australia’s largest private company and one of South Australia’s largest developers. In the dedicated in-house legal team, Aden was primarily responsible for planning, development and property matters, in addition to a wide range of other practice areas. In doing so, he worked regularly with many of the practitioners in the local government sector that he now represents and advises.

Since joining Norman Waterhouse, Aden, as part of the Environment and Planning Team, advises both local government and private clients on a wide variety of matters arising under the Development Act 1993, the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 and other legislation that is relevant to planning and development.

Aden regularly appears as counsel in the Environment Resources & Development Court in planning appeals, review applications and civil/criminal enforcement proceedings as well as in conferences, mediations and other Court processes.

Aden also enjoys delivering training and education to our clients and the industry.
