  • Provide advice on a range of workplace-related matters;
  • Conducting internal grievance investigations;
  • Investigating alleged breaches of legislative and industrial instruments
  • Advice and representation in employment disputes, including dismissals;
  • Advice and representation in equal opportunity and discrimination matters;
  • Advice and representation work health and safety investigations and SafeWork prosecutions; 
  • Draft and review employment agreements;
  • Draft and review independent contractor agreements; 
  • Advice on organisational restructuring and redundancy;
  • Advice on performance management; 
  • Advice and representation in enterprise bargaining negotiations;
  • Interpretation and application of Federal and State legislation, enterprise bargaining agreements and awards; 
  • Delivering training sessions on governance issues, industrial relations and work health and safety; and
  • Draft and review policies and procedures. 

Virginia advises local government and private sector clients in a wide range of litigious and non-litigious matters, in the areas of employment, industrial relations and work health and safety law.

She is also responsible for delivering and coordinating training workshops and presentations for all topics relating to governance and industrial relation for both local government and private sector clients.

Virginia is a commercially astute practitioner, having previously worked in the financial services sector as a Senior Hedge Fund Accountant in HSBC Global Banking and Markets, Hong Kong. Her diverse experience and strategic mindset drives her to develop pragmatic solutions and achieve desirable outcomes for her clients.
